And When You Do Lose Weight Are You Finding It A Difficult Time Keeping It Off?
Dear Frustrated Dieter,
Stop Right Now! There is absolutely no reason to be frustrated any longer over dieting. Let’s talk about fat loss and your body being as healthy as possible.
Why?
Because my belief is that a lean body not only helps you look great but a lean body is also ready and able to take care of itself. And I believe that when our body is not busy with all of the side issues of being over weight it truly can focus more energy on fending off disease.
So let’s talk about taking control of things here for just a moment, Okay?
Your weight effects your health, this is the premise we are going to follow, and just so you know, I am not a doctor. Never played one on TV either so don’t take anything I write as actual medical advice. rather, view my opinions as practical common sense.
Like I said, our weight controls our health. Did I say that? Yes, yes, I’m playing. Seriously though I do believe if we control our weight we do give our body that extra chance to take care of itself.
Here’s why I think this way….
Dieting causes stress as we fret about all the calories we take in, worrying about cheating our diet and when we do cheat then we punish ourselves. Stressful, right?
Good, we agree on this…
Why on Earth do we cause ourselves unnecessary stress? For crying out-loud, real doctors do tell us that stress is bad. Real bad and in fact, stress can be a killer.
Sheeesh… Life is stressful enough without us manufacturing more stress as a result of all our dieting. So let’s talk about….
Cheescake! I love cheesecake, the real oven baked kind just the way my Wife makes it… Sorry, got off track.
Since I’m such a goof and can be totally unfocused at times, take a quick look at FatLoss4Idiots that way when I forget to tell you later I won’t have forgotten. Huh?
Okay, stress is bad and since dieting = stress, how can we focus on successful weight loss and not talk about dieting. Easy, we make a pact right here and now to never again discuss dieting because it’s bad, really bad. Agreed?
Good. Besides, dieting is conjugated from the word “diet” which is really a cleverly disguised shorter word… die. And if you had any doubts that stress was bad for you, now you know, the stress from dieting is really bad. So let’s not talk about it from this point on.
We want to lose fat which results in us losing weight. Already things are lookin gbrighter wouldn’t you say? Plus we are back on track with my theory about losing weight really helps our body to take care of itself. Losing weight is simple right?
If weight loss were that simple, nobody would be fat. So we have to accept the fact that losing weight goes beyond merely eating less. Dang It, There is always a catch! Yes, true but let’s look for a way to make eating less a whole lot more fun.
Aaah, Fun. Remember being a kid, and were skinny (sorry had to toss that one in there), life was fun wasn’t it? No resposnibility, you could eat like a horse, no bills to pay, no boss breathing down your neck and never gained an ounce around the middle. What happened? Life just isn’t fair.
So let’s talk about taking back some control. Let’s look at this scientifically, we have a problem, a theory and a hoped for outcome. That hope is to one day lose weight, regain our health and remain thin(er).
Since we really don’t like the problem(fat) the theory sounds like a great place to start our scientific study. Mathematicians will tell us that 2+2=4 and since I was never any good with math I have choosen to merely believe that 2+2, does in fact, =4. this simple belief, trust really, makes life so much easier for me.
That’s it! I have the answer to our scientific study, let’s just make weight loss simple. What genius! No longer do we have to face being fat without hope. Eating less, does in fact, =weight loss. Because we know that 2+2=4. I mean every stinkin’ time I add 2+2 I get 4. Never a doubt. Then we can just know that 2-1=1 and 1 is most certainly less than 2.

We eat less and we will be less! If we just had a plan, something that kept us on track with out eating less to lose fat approach…
I’ve got it! FatLoss4Idiots gives us that plan!
Good bye will power – food is my friend again! Yipee!! No more stress!
Okay, let’s go slowly here. Yes. Yes, steady be steady. Let’s don’t go from ‘zero to all out’ without investing a little bit into things. let’s be consistent in our day to day approach to fat reduction and overall good health. We don’t want to burnout before we reach orbit – that would be real bad, very bad – as in not good.
So let’s promise to not make things too complicated. You know, Keep It Simple. We already know about good eating habits: daily servings of fruits and vegetables; eat smaller portions at say 5 different times daily; eat healthy snacks instead of chips and candy bars and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
We can do it – Yes it is true that eating healthy isn’t going to be an easy task. In fact, we are going to have to learn how to maintain our focus on our dream of losing weight and being thinner, doing so will help tremendously. And we must promise to not give up while adapting to our change in lifestyle.
Because… this really is a lifestyle change we are talking about, isn’t it?
All I can say is, let’s have some real fun while we are at it… I cannot recommend a more fun site than FatLoss4Idiots to help put the finishing touches on our plans for a better life.
